As a permanent senior lecturer in further education, I support teachers, schools and principals in various aspects of the digital transformation. I develop courses and materials, conduct courses and support schools strategically.

From May 2025, I will support the IMMERSE project. I will contribute my experience with AR/VR in combination with didactic settings as a connecting perspective.

DEEP Professionalization Link to heading

Since May 2025, I have been working as a research associate in Barbara Getto’s DEEP Professionalization project. In this mixed-methods project, I am working on questions of educational equity in relation to the digital transformation in primary schools.

GeoDigIT (2022-2024) Link to heading

In the internally funded project Digitality in Geography Education at the PH Zurich (GeoDigIT) by Monika Reuschenbach, we explored the question of which competencies prospective geography teachers at the secondary level should learn in order to later plan and carry out didactically valuable digitally supported lessons for their students.

Immersive BpA (2023-2024) Link to heading

In the internally funded project Immersive Learning through 360-degree Videos in the Professional Training of Teachers by Martin Berger, I was responsible for the technical implementation as well as the development and research cycle at the primary level. We explored the question of whether 360-degree videos can be used in the professional development of teachers and how they can be implemented in the simplest and most data protection-compliant way possible.

Fundamentals of Media and Informatics Course (2017-2023) Link to heading

As part of the Fundamentals of Media and Informatics Course (GMI), we developed and implemented a program that enabled more than 3,000 primary and secondary school teachers in the Canton of Zurich to gain the necessary qualifications to be licensed to teach “Media and Computer Science”.
